BEIS £1m grant funding award – project ‘HiLiNa’ kick-off
In H1 2019, LiNa applied for a £1.0m grant from the Energy Entrepreneurs Fund (‘EEF’) through the UK Department of Business Energy and Industrial Strategy (‘BEIS’).
Over the summer LiNa was informed that the application had been successful, and on September 1st 2019 project ‘HiLiNa’ kicked-off.
This grant award is a credible third party industry validation of the commercial potential of LiNa’s technology platform. Project HiLiNa is scheduled to run until Q1 2021, to culminate in a TRL5 LiNa short battery pack demonstration in real-world conditions for an established UK commercial battery-storage project developer.
